HOW TO PLAY RIPPED MUSIC FROM YOUR COMPUTER ON YOUR PSP

Have you ever tried to turn your favourite CD into a digital file playable on your PsP device, only to ripped it on your computer and when you transferred it into your PsP device hoping you can now enjoy listening to your favourite Cd with your psp device, become void since file would not be supported by your PsP system.

It is therefore important to note that the PsP will only play songs in Mp3 formats. A ripped or burn Cd wouldn’t play because it’s in WMA( window media audio) format or other formats not supported but except with the use of a converter software.

Rip music from your favourite Cds on to your computer. Then use sony image converter or any other hundreds of converters software to convert the rip song to Mp3 format.

TO RIP MUSIC FROM YOUR FAVOURITE CD ON TO YOUR COMPUTER

STEPS

1. insert the audio disc you want to rip to your computer Cd-Rom’s drive
2. the computer will then recognized it by opening it automatically and starts playing with Window Media Player.
3. however if your computer does not open the disc automatically due to your operating system never mind as long as it recognized the disc, go to your Media player manually.
4. click on “Rip Cd” at the top right of your screen while on the “Now playing mode” of your Media player.

Now that you have ripped your favourite song on to your computer. To now play it using your PsP device you must first convert it with your converter software installed on your computer. Download sony image computer or any other hundreds of  converter softwares from the internet. You can now then used it to convert your ripped song from any format to Mp3 format playable on your psp device.

HOW TO COPY YOUR FAVOURITE SONG TO YOUR PSP

Note, the reason for this is that you can’t just copy your favourite music directly to your PsP memory. You would have to copy it to the appropriate folder of your PsP memory before it will play.

STEPS

1.  connect your PsP to your computer

2.  your computer will tell you a new USB device has been found

3.  on your computer select the new USB device and open the file on it

4.  inside the file there are basically several folders such as the music folder, pictures, videos, psp and a folder named ISO.

5.  copy your favourite song in Mp3 format from your computer and paste it on the “music” folder of your PsP memory.

6.  press the “O” button on your PsP to disconnect from your computer.

Now you can enjoy your favourite songs ripped from your audio cd with your PsP device.
